The hips are measured from side seam to side seam across the front at the widest part ( double to get the circumference), The length is measured from the waist band straight down to the hem.
Small: Waist is 12.5" (25" around) but will stretch to 17" (34" around), hip is 21" (42" around), length is 27"
Medium: Waist is 13.5" (27" around) but will stretch to 18" (36" around), hip is 24" (48" around), length is 27"
Large: Waist is 14.5" (29" around) but will stretch to 19.5" (39" around), hip is 25" (50" around), length is 28"
X-Large: Waist is 15.5" (31" around) but will stretch to 21" (42" around), hip is 26.5" (53" around), length is 28"
